Murphy’s Dumpsters proudly serves customers throughout Eastern Upper Michigan, including Chippewa County, Mackinac County, and Luce County.

We also provide service to Sugar Island, Neebish Island, and Drummond Island. Please note that ferry fees will apply for island deliveries.

Because we service a large rural area, a delivery fee of $3 per mile may apply depending on your location.

10 Yard Dumpster – $425

20 Yard Dumpster – $575

• Ideal for construction, demolition, roofing, and large cleanouts

• Includes 2 tons of disposal

6 Yard Concrete Dumpster -$400

Specifically for concrete, asphalt, block, or other natural aggregate disposals. Flat rate with 5 ton maximum.

You can dispose of most household debris and construction materials, including:

For safety and environmental reasons, the following items cannot be placed in dumpsters:

• Refrigerators or appliances containing refrigerant
• Hazardous materials
• Chemicals
• Paint
• Tires
• Batteries
• Propane tanks
• Asbestos

If you’re unsure about an item, contact us before loading the dumpster.

Our standard rental period is up to 7 days, longer rentals are available for an additional $20 per day, booked at time of rental. We're happy to leave orders open ended when rental times are unknown.

Each dumpster includes a set amount of disposal weight.

If you exceed the included weight, additional disposal is charged at $160 per ton.

Landfills charge disposal companies based on weight, so this system helps keep pricing fair for both small and large jobs.

Yes. The maximum allowable weight in any dumpster is 5 tons.

If the dumpster exceeds this weight, an overweight fee may be incurred, or the dumpster may not be able to be safely removed.

In some situations, material may need to be removed and an additional dumpster may be required to safely accommodate the load.

No. As long as the placement location is clearly marked and accessible, we can deliver the dumpster without you being present.

Dumpsters can be placed on:

• Driveways
• Gravel areas
• Construction sites

If the dumpster needs to be placed on a public street or right-of-way in the City of Sault Ste. Marie, a permit from the city is required.
